The 7th USENIX Workshop on Free and Open Communications on the Internet (FOCI ’17) will take place Mon. Aug. 14, 2017. (It is co-located with the 26th USENIX Security Symposium (USENIX Security ’17), which is Aug. 16-18, 2017, in Vancouver, BC.) The call for papers has both a technical track and a law/social science track. Submissions are due by 8:59 pm (Pacific), Friday, May 26, 2017. (This is an extended deadline.)
The conference “seeks to bring together researchers and practitioners from technology, law, and policy who are working on means to study, detect, or circumvent practices that inhibit free and open communications on the Internet.”
