The American Society of International Laws (ASIL) independent Task Force on U.S. Policy Toward the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued its report at a press conference on Friday, March 27, 2009, during the ASIL Annual Meeting in Washington D.C.
In the fall of 2008, the American Society of International Law convened this blue-ribbon task force to examine the U.S. relationship with the International Criminal Court (ICC). The ASIL Task Force on U.S. Policy Toward the ICC studied the Courts work to date, reviewed current U.S. policy toward the Court, and developed recommendations that can inform the U.S. approach toward the Court.
The full report, as well as transcripts and audio of the announcement, are available at the Task Force’s website.
