The Centre for Medical Ethics and Law at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and The Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences at the University of Cambridge will co-host the Eastern and Western Perspectives on Surrogacy Conference at Wang Gungwu Theatre, Graduate House at HKU, in Hong Kong. The conference will be held on September 9-10, 2016.
This conference will bring together academics from both Eastern and Western jurisdictions to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the confluences and tensions between the way in which surrogacy is approached in these two regions.
