Palestine Works invites candidates to register for the Young Palestinian Lawyers Fellowship Conference, as well as to submit abstracts for competition in the Writing Competition & Workshop, on the following theme: Rebuilding the Palestinian National Movement: Legal and Political Considerations. The Conference will take place August 1-5 2016, at Birzeit University, Birzeit, Palestine. The Conference includes a speaking series, writing workshop, moot court competition, and networking components. Scholarships will be awarded for best oralists and best moot court teams. Stipends are available to offset attendance costs.
The Writing Competition & Workshop is open to practicing lawyers as well as rising lawyers and scholars of related disciplines. Scholarships will be awarded for top 3 papers, and authors are invited to present their abstracts at the Conference (Conference attendance is not a requirement for participation in the competition, however). The submission deadline is Aug. 1, 2016.
