The European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR), the European Coalition for Corporate Justice (ECCJ), and Corporate Accountability (CORA) are organizing Many hurdles, little liability: How can victims of human rights violations enforce their rights against corporations in Germany? in Berlin on Nov. 4, 2014. Victims of human rights abuses involving German enterprises abroad face a variety of hurdles to access justice in Germany. During the conference, international experts, academics, and practitioners, including Olivier de Schutter, Wolfgang Kaleck, and Andreas Jung, will discuss these challenges as well as legal and policy solutions in German civil law to improve access to remedy by victims of German corporations’ abuses.
