The Center for Advanced Study and Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP) at the University of Washington School of Law hosts the first Work-in-Progress Workshop for Junior IP scholars in Asia and Europe May 2, 2014.
CASRIP has selected the ten best papers and invited the authors to give presentations at the workshop. Authors will have a chance to receive comments on their papers from a panel of commentators who consist of professors from IP research centers in Asia-Pacific regions and Europe and faculty members at UW Law. CASRIP will also offer research and writing clinics for invited authors on May 1 regarding how to write U.S.–style law review articles and submit to them to U.S. and European journals. Panel discussions by leading IP professors are scheduled during lunchtime on May 1 and 2. A special IP seminar is scheduled from 3:30 to 5:30 on May 1.
