NYU’s Engelberg Center on Innovation Law & Policy will host the International Association for the Study of Commons‘ 2nd Thematic Conference on Knowledge Commons Sept. 5-7, 2014. The deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended to March 15, 2014.

The conference will seek to better understand how knowledge commons work, where they come from, what contributes to their durability and effectiveness, and what undermines them. This years program will highlight knowledge commons in the fields of medicine and the environment by devoting special paper tracks and policy sessions to those topics. The Conference organizers invite paper submissions in the following areas:
