TConsult in collaboration with Taylor’s Law School will host an International Conference on the Future of Law and Legal Practice (ICFLP 2019) exploring future developments of the law Malaysia, regionally and internationally. The conference will be held October 15 & 16, 2019 at the Dorsett Grand Hotel Subang Jaya in Selangor, Malaysia.
Paper submissions are invited on the following themes:
Corporate Law: Paper would focus on the changes that are taking place in the interaction between private law subjects in Contract, Tort, Unjust Enrichment, Equity and Trusts, Company Law, Competition Law, Taxation, Banking and Finance Law, Intellectual Property and various other related areas of law central to the parallel session themes.
Healthcare and Medical Law: Papers would revolve around the comprehensive examination of the role of law within the contemporary healthcare environment, laws relevant to aged community and related areas of law central to the parallel session themes.
Human Rights and Liberties:Â The focus would be the study changes in the regime of laws related to criminal offenses, rights of citizens and non-citizens such as refuges, family law, employment law and International Human Rights central to the parallel session themes.
Legal Education: The study to improve legal education and research techniques to enhance teaching and learning in law. Other aspects of education central to the parallel session themes are also welcome.
The paper submission deadline is July 31, 2019.
