Teaching Methods Conference Calls

Association of American Law Schools (AALS)

The AALS Section on Teaching Methods has launched a series of conference calls for faculty to discuss various topics related to law teaching. The first call, April 14, 2017, included 15 minutes on each of these topics:

The section now invites participants and proposals for its next call, July 14, 2017. RSVPs are due by June 23, 2017.

Format: As with the prior call, discussion leaders will present four specific questions or topics (each during a 15-minute block), with the hope that the other participants will provide their immediate thoughts and feedback based on their respective experiences. The goal is an organic thought exchange. This will not be a platform (hopefully) for formal presentation or soliloquy.

RSVP: By June 23, please let us know whether you’ll be able to attend this event, by completing this RSVP form.RFP: If you would be interested in leading a 15-minute discussion on our July call, please answer accordingly in the RSVP form.
