The Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) at Harvard Law School is now accepting applications to participate in IGLP: The Workshop in Madrid, Spain, July 17-23, 2016. The application deadline is April 22, 2016.
The Workshop is an intensive residential program for young doctoral and post-doctoral law scholars. The Workshop aims to strengthen the next generation of scholars by placing them in collaboration with their global peers and senior IGLP faculty as they develop innovative ideas and alternative approaches to issues of global law, economic policy, social justice and governance.
While in residence in Madrid, participants will examine current scholarly developments, reconsider canonical texts, and network with colleagues from around the world. The core of the Workshop will be comprised of a series of intensive writing workshops designed to facilitate peer-to-peer conversations with careful mentoring from IGLP’s global senior faculty. The Workshop will conclude with a one-day Conference addressing crucial issues of contemporary world political economy, convened by Carlos Andradas, Rector of Complutense University of Madrid.
