The legal profession faces a steady stream of criticisms and suggestions for change. Two of the most significant calls for change today are the specialization of the legal ethics codes and the commercialization of the legal profession. The Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics cordially invites you to attend its Volume XXIX Symposium, “Remaining Ethical Lawyers in a Changing Profession.” The symposium will consists of three panels. the morning panelists will focus on whether specialized ethics codes are necessary, the afternoon panelists will delve into the ethics of the commercialization of the legal profession focus on being not only ethical, but also relational.
