The Legal Writing Institute holds the 17th Biennial LWI Conference on July 10 – July 13, 2016, in Portland. The theme of the 2016 conference is “Thriving in a Time of Change.” This is a broad topic, covering professional commitments to teaching, scholarship, and professional service; to the professional identity as a discipline; and to current and former students’ identities as practitioners.
