“The Symposium will examine innovative funding options for social enterprises. The opening speaker will be Michael Schlein, President and CEO, Accion, and Chairman of the NYC Economic Development Corporation. Schlein and the panelists will draw on their diverse experiences to discuss various funding sources social enterprises can tap, and how they complement and differ from one another. Examples will include programs and ventures drawing on commercial, not-for-profit/philanthropic, and public resources individually and in combination.”
