iCLIC, the interdisciplinary core on Law, Internet and Culture hosted by the Institute for Law and the Web (ILAWS) at the University of Southampton Law School, will hold a conference entitled, “Enrolling Internet Intermediaries in the Law Enforcement Process: Challenges and Opportunities,” on Sept. 17-18, 2015.
The conference “aims to bring together researchers, legal practitioners, industry actors, digital rights advocates and NGOs to debate key issues concerning the role of Internet intermediaries.” Specifically, the conference will focus on the growing expectation that service providers play a more active role in the process of law enforcement.
