Antitrust Roundtable–Washington, DC

American Antitrust Institute

The American Antitrust Institute (AAI) will be holding the 15th Annual Energy Roundtable on May 27, 2015 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The Roundtable will focus on the competitive implications of emerging disruptive electricity technologies that could transform both retail and wholesale electricity markets.

This event is by invitation only. Please visit the AAI 15th Annual Energy website and see the AAI 15th Annual Energy Roundtable Overview for more information.

This year’s Energy Roundtable will examine the state of emerging disruptive electricity technologies, the pressures they exert on current utility models, and the competitive issues they introduce in retail and wholesale markets. The discussion will explore how incumbents are responding to new competition, lessons from past “disruptive” technology episodes in the U.S. electricity industry, and how regulators and antitrust enforcers might analyze competitive problems that are likely to surface with growing frequency.
