The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990, and prohibits discrimination based on disabilities. In honor of the 25th anniversary of the ADA, the William C. Wefel Center for Employment Law and the Center for Health Law Studies at SLU LAW will co-host a symposium, The ADA at 25: Disability Rights and the Healthcare Workforce, featuring the ADA at the intersection of health law and employment law on March 27, 2015.
