The call is still open for the Graphic Futures project, which will take place from 2015-2018, and engages with the questions of what the future(s) of law and justice might be.
- The call for papers deadline is Nov. 12, 2014.
- Workshops:
- Approaching Graphic Futures: Sept. 2015, July 2016.
- Criminal futures: March 2016, Sept. 2016
- Legal Futures of Technology: March 2017, Sept. 2017
- Law After the Modern State: July 2017, March 2018
Themes include methods, criminal justice, technology, and politics. You only have to commit to one theme (two workshops), and this will give rise to a peer-reviewed edited collection for that theme. We’ve also got some comics creators involved to produce some comics works engaging the workshop themes.
See here for more details.
I don’t necessarily need full abstracts at this stage, but just an indication of involvement and which theme(s) you are interested in. Am happy to discuss any ideas, also–just email me (thomas.giddens@smuc.ac.uk).
Can you also please pass this call on, as widely as possible, to anyone who might be interested.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Warmly,
Thom.
