The National Federation for the Corporation Law (FNDE) organizes the Paris Congress on Industrial Property on the topic Employee’s Invention Right: Asia – USA – Europe on September 19, 2014.
Inventions are notions that are expressed through creations: they can emerge anywhere in the world where there are researchers, who sometimes on their own initiative, but more often in the context of contracts, are entrusted with the task of initiating new products or processes, of solving essential technical issues for the economic development of nations.
This is the case, in particular, for inventions made by employees in the execution of a work contract.
The growing interest of technological innovation for States and companies has led the legislators to lay down rules to make them attractive for research and development centres in industry, public or private research organisations and to encourage their employee researchers to invent.
These measures include financial benefits, various forms of incentives, which vary from one country to another for the benefit of authors of inventions.

Quotation markWikipedia: In English writing, quotation marks or inverted commas, also known informally as quotes or speech marks or as quote marks, quotemarks or speechmarks, are punctuation marks placed either side of a word or phrase in order to identify it as a quotation, direct speech or a literal title or name. They are also used to indicate that the meaning of the word or phrase they surround should be taken to be different from that typically associated with it; in this way, they are often used to express irony. They also sometimes appear to be used as a means of adding emphasis, although this usage is usually considered incorrect. →
