Inaugural Carolina Junior Scholar Series (CJSS)

North Carolina Central University School of Law recently hosted  the inaugural Carolina Junior Scholar Series (CJSS) on April 11, 2014.  The CJSS is intended to provide a safe space for untenured faculty at North Carolina law schools to present their scholarship and was free to attendees.  From NCCU School of Law:

The event is free to participants.  The hosts hope that the conference will give junior scholars a cost-effective way to present scholarly ideas and build professional networks.  Any full-time (resident) law professor at Campbell, Charlotte, Duke, North Carolina Central, or UNC Chapel Hill may be a presenter.  Presenters need not be on the tenure-track. Visitors, Clinicians, Legal Writing professors, and Fellows are welcome!  For inquiries please contact Professor Wendy Scott at 919-530-6171919-530-6171 or wscott[@]nccu.edu or Professor Nareissa Smith at nsmith55[@]nccu.edu or 919-530-5483919-530-5483.
