North Carolina Central University School of Law recently hosted the inaugural Carolina Junior Scholar Series (CJSS) on April 11, 2014. The CJSS is intended to provide a safe space for untenured faculty at North Carolina law schools to present their scholarship and was free to attendees. From NCCU School of Law:
The event is free to participants. The hosts hope that the conference will give junior scholars a cost-effective way to present scholarly ideas and build professional networks. Any full-time (resident) law professor at Campbell, Charlotte, Duke, North Carolina Central, or UNC Chapel Hill may be a presenter. Presenters need not be on the tenure-track. Visitors, Clinicians, Legal Writing professors, and Fellows are welcome!
