The Cluster of Excellence “Our Future Ocean” (Kiel Marine Sciences), a university-based interdisciplinary research initiative funded by the German government only recently published this call for proposals for ph.d. positions and post doc positions which includes International Lawyers and/or Graduates holding a degree in International Affairs. The cluster offers (besides funding) great opportunities for networking, soft skills and scientific freedom. The network partners include six faculties and 26 institutes at Kiel University, as well as the GEOMAR | Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW) and the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design.http://www.futureocean.org/en/cluster/postdoc_network/project-call/index3.php.
