The Institute of Advanced Legal Studies invites papers for the upcoming conference International Human Rights Law in Refugee Status Determination: Comparative Practice and Theory, which will be held Nov. 13-14, 2013.
Those wishing to contribute should submit content on one of the following broad topics and their implications for our understanding of the scope of refugee definitions: “sexual and gender identity; combatants and military service; permissible limitations to rights (such as the freedom to manifest ones religion); and internal protection/flight alternative.”
