The AALS Section on Transactional Law and Skills is seeking paper proposals for its session at the 2014 Annual Meeting (Jan. 2-5, 2014, in New York) on the topic of Value Creation in the 21st Century. The session will re-examine Professor Ronald Gilsons 1984 scholarly article, Value Creation by Business Lawyers: Legal Skills and Asset Pricing, 94 Yale L.J. 239, evaluate the impact of the article, and discuss the prospects for business lawyers creating value in the 21st Century.
1-2 page proposals should be submitted no later than June 7, 2013 to eric.gouvin@law.wne.edu
