Yesterday (Oct. 11, 2012), the University of Wisconsin Global Legal Studies Center presented the Sixth Annual South Asia Legal Studies Pre-Conference Workshop. Panel topics were:
- Alternatives to the State: Dispute Processing, Justice and Minority Communities in India
- The Politics and Poetics of Islamic Law in Contemporary South Asia
The Annual Conference on South Asia (for which this is a pre-conference workshop) is taking place Oct. 11-14, 2012.
