September 2019

Pace Environmental Law Review (September 25)
Currently seeking submissions for our Fall 2019 Issue: Volume 37. PELR—a legal publication affiliated with the highest-ranked Environmental Law Program in the nation—is committed to publishing influential and innovative scholarship in the field of environmental law, including natural resources law, energy law, administrative law, land use law, and all related fields. Submissions received after the 25th will still be considered for PELR’s spring edition. PELR typically publishes submissions ranging from 25-50 pages.

October 2019

Concordia University Law Review (early October)
Concordia Law Review is a general topic law review that seeks admissions for its Spring 2020 edition. While we can take any topic, the journal specifically needs social justice pieces at this time. We would also welcome submissions that deal with current issues of law especially in the subjects of criminal and constitutional law. Due to our publication cycle, we would like to have all submissions completed by early October.

Washington and Lee Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice (October 2)
We are a scholarly publication focusing on legal issues affecting historically underrepresented classes of persons. The Journal publishes articles addressing a wide variety of social policy subject matters, including real estate, education, healthcare, environment, and public welfare. We publish two times a year and are looking for one or two more articles for our fall book. Submission deadline: Oct. 2.

Willamette Law Review (October 4)
We are seeking authors and speakers to contribute to its March 2020 Symposium. The topic is “Rethinking Legal Education,” with a focus on the shift from the casebook-centered, socratic method to a simulation, hands-on approach in the law school classroom. WLR is seeking those willing to both speak at Symposium on March 6, 2020 in Salem, Oregon and author an article for the WLR Symposium Edition. The article submission deadline is tentatively set for May. Florida Journal of International Law (October 15 by 5 p.m. ET)
We are seeking articles that discuss issues within international law, human rights law, maritime law, international environmental law, war crimes, and national security. We are a scholarly publication devoted to timely discussion of prescient international legal issues. Its subscribers include legal scholars and practitioners from around the world. Submission deadline: October 15, 2019 by 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time for receiving articles for our next publication.

University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law (October 20 by 11:59 p.m. ET)
We are seeking submissions relating to “Constitutional Law Outside of the Courts” to be published in a Special Issue of Volume 23, during the 2020-2021 academic year. Selection for publication will be contingent on Authors’ availability to speak at our annual symposium on the topic, which will be held on March 20, 2020. Submitted articles should be related to non-Article III actors and their roles or responsibilities in interpreting the Constitution of the United States. Submissions due by October 20, 2019 at 11:59 pm.

Asia Pacific Journal of Health Law and Ethics (October 21)
We are an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal. It is an open access journal, archived by major databases including EBSCO host, Hein Online, Westlaw Asia. Our vision is to encompass a plethora of healthcare issues, such as the ethical considerations of palliative care, data privacy and protection standards in healthcare, access to reproductive rights, and legal regulations of pharmaceutical drugs, especially essential medicines. Important deadline for submissions: All the papers should be in no later than October 21, 2019 for the November issue.

University of Bologna Law Review (Italy) (October 31)
The University of Bologna Law Review is a gold open access, blind peer-review, legal journal run by University of Bologna School of Law students, published by the Department of Legal Studies, sponsored by Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and the International Chamber of Commerce – Italy. We publish twice a year, and each issue emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach to Legal Studies. We are accepting submissions for Vol. 4 Issue no. 2 in any field of Legal Studies. Deadline is on October 31st, 2019.
