CFP: IP Conference – Zurich, Switzerland

The European Policy for Intellectual Property association (EPIP) announces its 14th Annual Conference in Zurich, Switzerland, September 11 to 13, 2019. The conference theme is “The Future of IP”.

Topics
This edition seeks contributions on the major challenges facing patent offices and IP users. Topics such as blockchain & IP, IP challenges posed by the convergence of industries, and opportunities arising from digitalisation are particularly encouraged. However, we invite submissions on all IP-related topics, including:

IP and innovation/competition
IP and firm strategy
IP and its role on the market for technology
Standards and patent pools
Inventor mobility and knowledge flows
International trade agreements and IP
Open access and IP in science
Functioning of IP systems
Gender and IP
IP and new research methods

All forms of IP are relevant, whether patents, copyrights, trademarks, plant breeding rights, geographical indications, design rights, trade secrets or others.
