CFP: The Corporate Law Teachers Association (CLTA) Conference: Possible Futures for the Company and for Corporate Law – Auckland, NZ

CLTA Conference

On February 3-5, 2019, the University of Auckland, New Zealand, hosts the annual Corporate Law Teachers Association conference. This year’s theme is Possible Futures for the Company and for Corporate Law.

“That the only certainty is change has never been truer than during the last decade. And the pace of change is accelerating with technological advances; changing balances in world power; increasing inequality; a questioning of tenets of capitalism and even democracy with the profit maximising role of the corporation being re examined; and climate change.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE and DEADLINE: We invite abstracts on issues connected to corporate law broadly defined ideally related to the theme. We encourage submissions from doctoral and early career researchers. Abstracts should be addressed to clta2019[@]auckland.ac.nz. Abstract submitters will be advised on the outcome within two weeks of submission. Abstract submissions and full papers are due before January 22, 2019, and the early bird conference rate will close at the end of November 2018.
