The University of Sheffield issues a call for papers for their conference Literature, Law, and Psychoanalysis, 1890-1950 to be held at their campus Apr. 11-13, 2019. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 28, 2018.

Submit proposals (250 words for a paper, or 300 words for a panel) to Katherine Ebury at litlawpsy2019@gmail.com. Topics of interest include: literature’s connection with historical debates around crime and punishment; literature and authors on trial and/or on the ‘psychiatrist’s couch’; and literature’s effect on debates about human rights; as well as international legal systems and texts.
