In 2017-2018, the Metric Geometry & Gerrymandering Group (MGGG) (Boston-area mathematicians) is holding a nationwide cycle of Geometry of Redistricting workshops, starting with a major conference at Tufts University on August 7-11, 2017. Video and slides of the August workshop are posted. Regional workshops have been held in Madison, WI, and Durham, NC. The remaining regional workshops will be at the University of Texas Feb. 1-4, 2018 (registration open through Dec. 20, 2017), and the University of San Francisco March 15-18, 2018.
