Canada United States Law Institute

The 2016 Annual Conference of the Canada-U.S. Law Institute will be held on Apr. 7-8, 2016 at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. The conference, “Cooperation and Conflict: Internat’l Trade, Investment, and Cross Border Disputes,” will address the economic relationship between Canada and the U.S. in light of an “increasingly integrated and global economy.”

Founded in 1976, the Canada-U.S. Law Institute, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2016, serves as a forum where government officials, business and legal professionals, scholars, NGOs, and the media examine and resolve issues confronting the Canada-United States relationship. It is jointly managed by Case Western Reserve School of Law and Western Ontario Faculty of Law.
