New Voices in Administrative Law – New York City, NY

The AALS Administrative Law Section will be putting on a program entitled “New Voices in Administrative Law” at the AALS annual meeting in New York January 2-5, 2014.

At this event – not a conventional panel but a series of small-scale mentoring sessions – junior scholars in administrative law will be able to present a work-in-progress to two senior scholars for comment and discussion.  This event gives junior scholars an opportunity to meet senior administrative law scholars, get feedback on work, and get to learn about the section.

Space is very limited.  If you’re interested, please let Bill Araiza (Brooklyn) know as soon as possible, at bill.araiza[@]brooklaw.edu.  Your presented work doesn’t need to be final by January, but by the Fall we would need a substantial written product for the commenters to read before the conference.  There’s no formal definition of “junior scholar,” but the working definition is someone who’s been teaching seven or fewer years.
