Toward a Multipolar Administrative Law–New York, NY

The New York University School of Law, NYU Law’s Jean Monnet Center, and the IRPA—the Institute for Research on Public Administration (Istituto di Ricerche sulla Pubblica Amministrazione)—will host a seminar entitled “Toward a Multipolar Administrative Law–A Theoretical Perspective” September 9–10, 2012. Participants will include Justice Sabino Cassese of the Constitutional Court of Italy, Professor Joseph H.H. Weiler (NYU School of Law), and Professor Lorenzo Casini (University of Rome “La Sapienza”).

Submissions from both junior and senior scholars are invited. Abstracts (up to 800 words) should be sent in .pdf or .doc format to administrativelaw|at|irpa.eu by March 31, 2012. Conference papers will be published in the NYU Jean Monnet Working Papers Series. The best contributions may also become part of a symposium dedicated to the “New Theories of Administrative Law,” to be published in the International Journal of Constitutional Law (I•CON).
